How to subscribe
The software that runs FC-Discuss is called Mailman. It is super reliable and thousands of mailing lists use it but the interface can be kinda annoying.
We really want more SFC members to subscribe to the list so we made an illustrated, step-by-step guide to smooth out the process.
1. Submit your email address and click subscribe
- Point your browser to: http://freeculture.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss
- Protip: If you are concerned that FC-Discuss will clog your inbox, you might choose to receive a single daily digest email instead of each message individually.
2. Confirm your subscription
- Soon after you submit your email address on the web, you will receive an email like the one above.
- Click on the link and you'll be prompted to confirm your subscription
- If everything looks correct, click Subscribe to list Discuss
3. Welcome to FC-Discuss!
- After confirming your subscription, you'll receive an email like the one above
- There are some useful links in this email should you ever need to change your settings or unsubscribe

How to unsubscribe
- Point your World Wide Web browser to http://freeculture.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and follow the directions located near the "Unsubscribe" button.
