This is a recipe, a short document maintained by the web team to help you achieve something.
Take a look at all the recipes.
Take a look at all the recipes.
Requirements: A web browser, and a willingness to edit the wiki.
Instructions: To create a new Web team explainer document:
- Decide on the page name.
- A good name is the kind of thing you could put on a poster on a rally. "Create a web team explainer!" is, therefore, a good example.
- Go to the wiki page with that name by typing in the web address to your browser.
- You really just type http://wiki.freeculture.org/ plus the page name into the address bar. There's no form right now for doing this.
- Add
{{Web team explainer}}
to the top of the document.- This makes it get the nice orange box explaining what an explainer is. It also puts it in the explainer category.
- Explain something!
- Now you have to write the page! But you don't have to get it right the first time.
