The easiest way to get apt-get is to download a Debian based Linux distrobution. Information is available from:


Apt-get is also available for RPM-based distros like SuSE, Red Hat/Fedora, and Mandrake, but it is unofficial and tends to have a smaller selection of packages available than the real Debian apt-get.
