The board should approve important expenditures, appointments, and other major decisions by the executive director, as the board defines them. gavinbaker: *sigh* gavinbaker: well, aside from my continuing objection to the title "executive director", which we'll get to when we consider the comments (or the ED section, i guess) gavinbaker: this is kinda important, and i'd like to see what others say about this peabo: so the ED is a major source of the agenda of board meetings? contra: the board doesn't need to approve every decision of the ED?
