Open University Campaign Criteria #2: OpenCourseWare

For a good definition of open educational resources, see point 2 of the Cape Town Open Education Declaration.

Committee Steps

-Draft a one page document outlining the importance of OpenCourseWare (OCW Consortium is a huge help)

-Determine what makes an "A" for OCW - is it at least 10 courses (like the OCWC requires) or is it all of their courses (like MIT does)? Is it text-based or do videos get extra points? What about providing multiple forms of access and mirroring?
